Danial Shaikh

Danial Shaikh holds an MSc in Marketing from Ulster University and currently serves as a faculty lecturer at Iqra University and Aga Khan University. He brings a strong combination of academic knowledge, corporate experience, and practical mentorship to Yaqeen by Optivise.

Throughout his mentoring journey, Danial has guided more than 1,500 students in career development, higher education, and entrepreneurship. He has also supported over 200 early-stage startups in refining their ideas and transforming them into viable ventures.

Through the OMLAS International Mentorship Programme, he has mentored young professionals and social entrepreneurs globally, including conducting sessions in Nepal and Bangladesh.

With experience in multinational organizations and expertise in workshop facilitation, communication skills, career readiness, and startup development, Danial delivers practical and interactive mentorship. At Yaqeen by Optivise, he will support aspiring entrepreneurs and rural youth in building confidence, developing essential skills, and navigating their entrepreneurial journey.

Umair Ahmed Khan

Umair Ahmed Khan is an entrepreneurship and incubation professional with more than a decade of experience supporting startups, students, freelancers, and emerging innovators. He currently serves as Manager of IU CORE — the Centre for Research and Entrepreneurship — and Program Head of SkillUp at Iqra University.

Throughout his career, Umair has contributed to strengthening Pakistan’s startup ecosystem through incubation management, entrepreneurship training, mentorship, innovation programs, and strategic ecosystem development. His professional journey includes working with the Punjab Information Technology Board’s startup incubation initiatives, where he supported multiple startups.

Sardar Muhammad Nawaz brings over 15 years of combined experience across academia and the corporate sector. He is a PhD scholar and faculty member at the Denning Institute of Technology & Entrepreneurship, with a strong background as a seasoned entrepreneur, corporate trainer, and business mentor.

Throughout his career, Sardar has worked across academia, banking, entrepreneurship, and business development. He has mentored startups, students, and professionals by connecting academic research with practical business strategy and real-world market insights.

Waqas Bin Azhar

Waqas Bin Azhar is a startup mentor, educator, and industry–academia strategist with more than 15 years of experience in education, professional training, marketing, and startup ecosystem development. He currently works as an Assistant Manager in Startup Engagement at the National Incubation Center Hyderabad, where he supports early-stage founders and strengthens collaboration among startups, universities, mentors, investors, and industry stakeholders.

Throughout his career, Waqas has mentored startups in business validation, product–market alignment, pitch development, customer insights, and market strategy. His professional portfolio reflects engagement with more than 50 startups and over 20 training programs.

Wajid Ali Naqi

Engr. Wajid Ali Naqi is a Computer Engineer, Educator, and AI & Technology Strategist with nearly six years of teaching experience across school, college, and university levels. He holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Quantic School of Business and Technology, Washington, D.C., USA.

His expertise covers how software and digital products are developed, how artificial intelligence works and can be practically used, and how an idea can be transformed into an app, software, or technology-based product. He brings an understanding of the tools, technologies, development processes, and technical decisions involved in taking a product from an initial idea to a working solution.

Taimoor Ahmed is an entrepreneur and business growth professional with experience in startup sales, business development, strategic partnerships, client acquisition, and team leadership. He is the Founder of Optivise Solutions, where he leads growth initiatives and supports startups, nonprofits, and emerging businesses in developing stronger sales systems and scalable operations.

His core expertise lies in building sales processes, developing high-performing teams, managing client relationships, creating partnership strategies, and helping businesses convert opportunities into sustainable revenue.

Having grown up in Digri, Sindh, Taimoor understands the limited access rural youth often have to professional networks, practical guidance, and startup exposure. This experience inspired the development of Yaqeen by Optivise, a platform connecting aspiring individuals with experienced mentors and industry professionals.

At Yaqeen by Optivise, Taimoor will mentor participants in startup sales, lead generation, client communication, business development, team building, sales strategy, and relationship management.
