Terms of Use  Yaqeen by Optivise

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Yaqeen website, applications, mentorship services, workshops, communications and related resources. By using the website or submitting an application, you agree to these Terms.

2.1 Eligibility

You must provide accurate information and have legal capacity to accept these Terms. A person below the applicable age of majority may participate only with parent or legal guardian authorization and in accordance with Yaqeen’s safeguarding procedures.

2.2 Nature of the Initiative

Yaqeen provides educational, informational and mentorship opportunities. Availability, selection, matching, timing, duration and format are at Yaqeen’s discretion and may depend on mentor capacity, eligibility, location, language and program resources. Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance or matching.

2.3 Accounts, Applications and Bookings

  • You must submit complete, current and truthful information.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding any login credentials and for activities under your account.
  • Bookings may be changed or cancelled. Users should provide reasonable notice and communicate professionally.
  • Repeated non-attendance, misrepresentation or misconduct may result in suspension or removal.

2.4 Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Use Yaqeen for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, discriminatory or exploitative purposes.
  • Harass, threaten, intimidate or pressure another participant, mentor, staff member or partner.
  • Request or share unnecessary sensitive data, passwords, financial credentials or private contact details.
  • Record, photograph or publish a session or another person without explicit authorization.
  • Scrape profiles, copy databases, introduce malware, bypass security or disrupt website operation.
  • Use mentor or participant information for unsolicited sales, fundraising, recruitment, political campaigning or unrelated marketing.
  • Misrepresent affiliation, qualifications, outcomes or endorsements.

2.5 Intellectual Property

The Yaqeen name, branding, website design, written materials, program frameworks and original content are owned by or licensed to Yaqeen/Optivise and may not be copied, modified, sold or distributed without written permission. Mentors retain ownership of their pre-existing materials. Participants retain ownership of their ideas and materials, subject to any separate written agreement. Submission of feedback grants Yaqeen a non-exclusive right to use it to improve the initiative without identifying the contributor unless consent is obtained.

2.6 User Content and Publicity

By submitting content, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not violate law or third-party rights. Yaqeen may remove content that violates these Terms. Testimonials, photographs, recordings, success stories or public profiles will be used only under a separate permission or consent process where required.

2.7 Third-Party Services

Sessions or bookings may use third-party tools such as video conferencing, calendars, forms or messaging platforms. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. Yaqeen is not responsible for outages, acts or omissions of third-party services.

2.8 Suspension and Termination

Yaqeen may refuse, suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce policies, manage program capacity, respond to misconduct or comply with law. Serious safeguarding concerns may be reported to appropriate guardians, institutions or authorities.

2.9 Disclaimers

The website and services are provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yaqeen does not warrant uninterrupted availability, error-free content, a successful match, or any particular educational, commercial or career outcome. Nothing on the website constitutes legal, tax, financial, investment, medical or regulated professional advice.

2.10 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yaqeen, Optivise, mentors, volunteers, staff and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or lost-profit damages arising from use of the website or mentorship services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or other non-excludable obligations.

2.11 Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims arising from your unlawful conduct, infringement of third-party rights or material breach of these Terms.

2.12 Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Courts located in Karachi, Pakistan will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

Before filing a formal claim, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve the matter through written notice and discussion.
