Mentorship Disclaimer  Yaqeen by Optivise

Yaqeen connects participants with volunteer or invited mentors for educational guidance. Please read this disclaimer before participating.

3.1 Educational Guidance Only

Mentorship conversations, workshops, templates, comments and resources are general educational information. They are not a substitute for independent legal, tax, accounting, investment, employment, immigration, medical or other regulated professional advice. Participants should consult an appropriately qualified professional before acting on matters requiring professional judgment.

3.2 No Guaranteed Outcome

Participation does not guarantee funding, investment, incubation, admission, employment, revenue, customer acquisition, intellectual-property protection, business registration, certification or any other result. Outcomes depend on many factors outside Yaqeen’s and the mentor’s control.

3.3 Independent Decisions

Participants remain solely responsible for evaluating information, conducting due diligence and making their own decisions. Mentors may share experience and opinions, but participants are not required to follow recommendations.

3.4 Mentor Relationship

Mentors are not employees, agents, business partners, fiduciaries or representatives of participants merely because they participate in Yaqeen. Mentorship does not create a lawyer-client, accountant-client, doctor-patient, investor-founder, employment, agency or partnership relationship.

3.5 Confidentiality Limitations

Participants should not disclose trade secrets, passwords, banking details, national identification numbers, sensitive personal data or confidential third-party information. Unless a separate written confidentiality agreement is signed, Yaqeen cannot guarantee that information shared in a mentorship setting will receive legal confidentiality protection. Mentors and participants are nevertheless expected to respect privacy and the Code of Conduct.

3.6 Conflicts and Commercial Dealings

Mentors must disclose material conflicts of interest. Any investment, employment, paid consulting, procurement or commercial arrangement between a mentor and participant is separate from Yaqeen and should be documented independently. Yaqeen does not endorse, broker or guarantee such arrangements unless expressly confirmed in writing.

3.7 Safeguarding and Boundaries

  • Use only approved communication and meeting channels.
  • Do not request private meetings with minors or move conversations to hidden channels.
  • A parent, guardian or authorized program representative may be required to attend or supervise sessions involving minors.
  • Do not engage in romantic, sexual, coercive, exploitative or financially manipulative conduct.
  • Report safety concerns, threats, harassment or suspected abuse promptly to safeguarding@yaqeenbyoptivise.com.

3.8 Recordings

No mentorship session may be recorded or publicly shared without advance permission from Yaqeen and informed consent from all participants and, where applicable, a parent or guardian.

3.9 Emergencies

Yaqeen is not an emergency, crisis-response or mental-health service. A person facing immediate danger should contact local emergency services or a trusted responsible adult.
